Dr Anika Shah

Anika is a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry, currently undertaking her consultant training across Birmingham Dental Hospital and Leicester Community Dental Services CIC. She graduated from King’s College London in 2018 and completed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2025.

Anika has experience in caring for children with a wide range of dental needs, including dental trauma, developmental dental conditions, and those with complex medical backgrounds. Her clinical interests include the management of dental trauma and dental anomalies. She was honoured to be awarded first prize in the Dental Trauma UK Richard Welbury Case Report Competition in 2024. Anika also provides inhalation sedation for anxious children requiring dental treatment.

Anika is committed to delivering thoughtful, personalised care in a calm and supportive environment, working closely with children and their families to ensure every visit is a positive, reassuring experience.
