Shaila graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 and moved to Leicester after completing her vocational training in her hometown in Lancashire. She has worked in Leicester since 2010 and is committed to providing a very high standard of care for her patients. She has been awarded the prestigious title ‘Best Young Dentist- Midlands’ for achievements in her career. 

Shaila’s gentle, caring and reassuring approach puts even the most nervous patients at ease and she is a very cheerful and friendly dentist. She is always keen to attend courses and conferences to improve her skills and knowledge, using the latest techniques to deliver the very best care to patients. She obtained her diploma from the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. 

She has a special interest root canal treatment, and in 2014 she completed a three year training program at the University of Chester. She obtained a Degree of Master of Science (MSc) in Endodontology which she passed with Merit. She enjoys the challenges of complex root canal treatments and uses the latest advances in technology and equipment to achieve a high level of precision. Shaila also accepts referrals from around Leicestershire for root canal treatments and is an active member of the British Society of Endodontics. 

Shaila enjoys helping patients achieve confidence in their smiles and is interested in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. She is currently undertaking a diploma in Orthodontics and carries out teeth straightening and composite bonding. She is a perfectionist and likes to ensure that every detail is taken care of to ensure healthy, long lasting smiles. 

She also has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and has trained with leading experts in the field. She uses a gentle and skilled approach to create natural and subtle changes using dermal fillers and wrinkle reduction treatments to achieve predictable results.  

Shaila is a firm believer of prevention of dental disease and promotes dental health in the local community and has visited schools in Oadby, Evington and Lubbenham. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, going for long walks in the countryside, and enjoys singing in the choir.
